Alex has been with Sequent since August 2018 as a Field Technician. He is originally from Denver but now calls the Grand Valley home. Alex moved to Grand Junction for a change of pace, stating, “Grand Junction reminds me of the way Denver used to be. A big city, with a small-town feel. People are more personable and look out for each other here.”
Alex was trained in electronics while serving in the Army for three years and has worked at various outfits in the IT/tech-industry, since age 17, amounting to 28 years in the tech industry. Some of his most notable careers were working for a medical device manufacturer, industrial computer manufacturer, test engineer, sustaining engineer, and fiber optics.

Alma has been with Sequent since February of 2021, as the administrative assistant. Originally from Texas, Alma and her family spent 14 years in Tampa, FL where they called home before relocating to the North East state of Vermont for 6 years. In the summer of 2020, Alma and her family received the opportunity to relocate to Grand Junction, CO with her husband’s career and are settling in nicely. When not learning the IT business at Sequent, Alma loves spending time with her husband and three children, which keep her busy. She likes traveling, spending time by an ocean or lake, and exploring all that GJ and the neighboring states have to offer.
Born in Grand Junction, but grew up in the Mid-West. Moved back with family as a teenager and been here since. Amazing people and beautiful scenery is what has kept me here. Free time is spent with family, fishing and the local music scene. As an IT Tech I have the privilege of meeting new people and working with technology I have enjoyed for the last 25yrs, and lucky enough to be doing it with Sequent since November 2019.
Born and raised in Northern Michigan, Ty moved to Denver in 2015 with big city dreams but quickly fell in love with the mountains and all the adventure Colorado has to offer. He has spent most of his free time since exploring Westward, most recently moving to Grand Junction in 2021.
Ty possesses a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and he’s put his analytical skills to use in a variety of fields; pharmaceutical research, financial management, and working on the enhanced emergency 911 network. Ty joined Sequent in 2021, as our administrator, and enjoys helping our staff and customers coordinate the products and services needed to operate in the constantly changing environment that technology provides.
Ty’s hobbies include photography, rec sports, entomology, and naturalism. If you don’t see him chasing insects in the nearby canyons, you will probably find him out on a sunny patio appreciating a cold beverage at one of our many great establishments here in Grand Junction.

James is a Grand Junction native and appreciates the balance between city life and smaller community that can be found here. Wherever there is a trail to be explored you can find James out riding his ATV’s, stopping occasionally to admire the amazing vistas and sunsets of the Grand Valley.
James joined Sequent in 2021 as a tier 1 technician. He got his start in IT building computers as a freshman in high school and has been hooked ever since. When James isn’t working or riding his ATV’s he keeps busy with a multitude of hobbies ranging from D&D, horror movies, video games, and even contributing to the community by building budget pcs and donating them to kids who need computers for school.
